Men of Excelsior Club Show Support for Breast Cancer Awareness
The members of the Excelsior Club showed their support for breast cancer awareness yesterday Thursday October 25, 2018 by releasing pink balloons . This ceremony was carried out on the outside of the Northern Caribbean University’s (NCU) gymnnatorium.
The men from Cedar Hall marched  from Cedar Hall (male dormitory) to the gym.  After which, they waited near the end of the assembly session and the members of the club – along with other persons dressed in pink, gathered in anticipation of the releasing of the balloons. While they waited, Excelsior Club President Alex Jackson highlighted that we should all strive to support the many women suffering from breast cancer in the Caribbean.
Jackson added, “The men of cedar hall just want to show their support to the ladies and the minority of men that are affected by breast cancer because we know that it’s difficult being a patient of any cancerous illness”.
This annual tradition was started last year by  previous president Keith Bryant.
The Excelsior club is the student government for the male dorm Cedar Hall.
