French Police have shot and killed a man who attacked and wound at least two people with
a knife in the city of Canebiere today.
According to the BBC news, the attack occurred specifically in Marseille, France.
The BBC news also reported that one of the wounded victims is in critical condition.
The Police reportedly opened fire on the attacker, after he posed a threat with his knife.
Fragments from the gunshot wound have injured a third person.
The identity of the man was not revealed.
