The College of Humanities Behavioral and Social Sciences Academic Council inducted Quantaesha Russell as its  new president on February 5th 2019, in a Senate meeting for Spring 2019.

This is as a result of the Previous President, Tyasha Powell having to leave the post due to circumstances beyond her control.

When asked about her plans as president Russell said,  “During my reign I want to bring back that spirit of unity within the college ”

Russell previously held the office of Projects Director 2017-2018, and Vice President of student Services and Social Affairs in Fall 2018
