The United Student Movement’s Male and Female Directors hosted their second session of pre-sporting activities which started on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, and saw rounds of domino and Ludo tournaments between the university’s sports houses.

Mandeville, Jamaica- Fletcher Eagles and Polar Bears are out the blocks after dominating their respective rounds of the United Students Movement’s pre-sports domino competition.
Round Robin activities with all teams were held on Wednesday, October 7.
In round one, the Fletcher Eagles faced off against the Chisolm Hawks but came up short.
Round two saw the Polar Bears taking an easy win against the Lions due to a shortage of team members.
In round three, Flecther won by default against Beaumont and in Round four, Brodie won against Chisholm, which saw both houses qualifying for the finals.
The third-place playoff and finals will be held on Thursday, October 8 at the Gymnatorium from 2 pm to 3:30 pm.
Meanwhile, in pre-sport games that started on Tuesday, October 6, the female ludo competition saw an exciting round being played.
Fletcher took care of business against the mighty Beaumont Lions, while Brodie finished third, and Chisolm came in at the back of the line.
As for the males, the Eagles took 4th place after losing in the first round to the Hawks.
The finals between Beaumont and Brodie will also be held on Thursday, October 8.
Male Sports Director Matthew Berry encourages students to “support the movement” as they try their best to keep the students involved through the various social media accounts and streaming platforms.
