MONTEGOBAY, ncu – The Western Campus of the Northern Caribbean University (NCU) is blessed with a diverse population of students. In every population, we find that persons have different drives, aspirations and beliefs. One such person is Kimone Patrice Anderson.
Kimone Anderson is currently completing her Bachelors Degree in Social Work, in fact, she is now on her final lap. Anderson has received the Magna Cum Laude Academic Award for Excellence for 3 consecutive years, dating from 2017-2019.
Speaking about versatility, she is a member of numerous societies and clubs. She has been a staff
member of The Dendrobium Pathfinders and Adventures Club for a total of 5 years. Additionally, Kimone has been a part of The St. James Drill Squad since January 2017. It does not end there; she is currently the NCU United Student Movement Executive Vice President of the Western Regional Campus.
Anderson remains pious, as she lives up to Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”, and 1 Timothy 4:12, “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity”.
How does she do all this? Kimone confessed that she gives all credit to her support systems. “Being a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, I enjoy ministering to others and also helping them make positive changes for their growth and development” says Anderson.
Kimone is usually seen walking briskly around campus, she testified that she is often busy organizing or planning. She is an extrovert at heart, she confessed that she prefers to do adventurous activities as oppose to staying indoors.
Speaking about professionalism, she enjoys getting good grades, as such she works super hard to maintain them, she even added that she dislikes last minute work. Moreover, Anderson made it clear that her grades meant so much to her; that she would get super angry if they were to be fiddled with.
Finally, Kimone Anderson expressed how much she loved and admired her mother. She believes
that she was a major support system in which played a part in her development as a young lady.
